Traveling to a country so different from your own is not only exciting and adventurous but can cause a concern or two.

Although no travel is risk-free, please know that One With Africa has very carefully selected the ground operators we use to minimize your risk and to ensure that you not only have a trip of a lifetime but a safe one as well.  The operators are known in the industry for their quality of guides and transport used, their attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.  This means that their vehicles are well maintained and are equipped with radios to advise of game sightings or for emergencies.  The guides have a thorough knowledge of the bush and animal behavior so they will advise you on when it is safe to approach an animal and when it is not.  It is extremely important that you follow your guides’ instructions and advice at all times. 

If a problem does arise (alas, nothing is perfect) all the camps are in contact not only with the land operators but with medical personnel as well.  You will be enrolled in the Flying Doctor’s Service.  This organization is available 24/7 and is equipped to provide emergency evacuation for One With Africa clients to regional hospitals in the event of an emergency.

Additionally, we require that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes, but is not limited to, the following:

- Full cancellation and curtailment of the safari protection.
- Sufficient medical coverage to allow for full emergency evacuation and repatriation.
- Coverage for damage, theft and loss of baggage, money and goods.
- Coverage for high altitude trekking if you plan to do any serious mountain climbing.
- Coverage for scuba diving if you plan to include this in your travels.
