This reserve bordering Chobe’s western boundary is the best of all possible worlds. It provides the same great game viewing experience as Chobe but without the crowds. Its 275,000 private acres (125,000 hectare) accommodate a maximum of 52 guests in 3 small camps ensuring a remote and spacious experience. The Linyanti Reserve is best known for its Linyanti River, its interior woodlands and the sporadic and unusual watercourse, the Savuti Channel. The Channel has been dry since 1980 and is now an open grassland which is a haven for abundant game and predators. Elephants abound particularly in the dry winter months. In addition, red lechwe, sitatunga, roan antelope, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyaena and wild dog are found.
