Running from Seronera up to the Masai Mara border, the plains are left behind in favor of bush and thicket. This is a main north/south corridor for the migration. Thanks to the Grumeti River, the Lobo Valley area is home to good game viewing year round and is nothing short of spectacular as the migration heads back south usually toward the end of November North of the Lobo you can opt to proceed due north to the Mara River and the Masai Mara or head west toward Migration Camp. This northern section, due to its inaccessibility is little visited and offers an excellent alternative to visiting the more crowded Masai Mara when the migration is here (usually mid-July through October).
