Tubu Tree Camp

If you are looking for a distinctive elephant experience in the delta then look no further.  It is not unusual (but cannot be guaranteed) for an elephant to come into camp to feed.  They are so close you can see their lovely eyelashes.  Recently, we were welcomed in such a fashion as we arrived.

You will be comfortably situated in one of five en-suite tents complete with a private deck and outdoor shower.  As are the rooms, the main dining and lounge area is raised above the ground but the outdoor pub lies under the canopy of a large Marula tree.

During the flood season (usually May to late September), boating, fishing and mokoro trips are offered.  This is in addition to the year round day and night game drives and guided walks.  As far as animals are concerned, lion, zebra, red lechwe, giraffe, tsessebe and wildebeest can be seen in the floodplains, while kudu, impala, leopard and bushbuck can be found in the forested areas.
