Campi Ya Tembo is one of our all time favorite camps.  Rustic with just the right touch of luxury, it is a dynamite 3 tented camp situated about a half hours drive from the main Saruni lodge.  Located in a wild, scenic valley rich in wildlife and privacy, you will feel as if you are one with nature.

This is truly a piece of pristine, old Africa, totally untouched by modern development.  Envision thousands of acres with no roads, villages, or humans.  Wildlife is plentiful but is not habituated to contact with vehicles.  Here you will track wild animals and learn bush skills.  Walks are custom tailored and include valleys, forests, springs and mountains.  This is an ideal base for those interested in watching, tracking and studying elephants.

Each of the three tents is nicely appointed with en-suite baths featuring a flush toilet and bladder shower with hot water provided upon request. Enjoy uninterrupted mountain views from your large verandah and at night gather around your private bonfire sipping your favorite beverage.

Excellent cuisine and open Land rovers round out this phenomenal experience.
