The Tower is aptly named.  It is a uniquely constructed 8 storied Cypress Tower surrounded by a forest of yellow Acacia trees.  Built as a private weekend retreat, each room has been individually designed and filled with truly exquisite antiques and personal touches unparalleled elsewhere.  Although The Tower has five bedrooms, this is an ideal honeymoon retreat.  The spacious master bedroom on the third floor enjoys one of the four balconies that grace the house and the views to the lake are exquisite.  There is a small meditation room favored by those who want to plunge silently into the essence of Africa.

It is all about privacy, exclusiveness and service whether you are a party of two or twenty.  A professional staff will cater to your every need and whim.  The chef focuses on serving delicious, natural foods incorporating their own organic produce.  Meals are to your tastes and preferences and can be arranged anywhere anytime, from a champagne breakfast by the lake, to picnics up on the hill, to buffets at the swimming pool.

Included activities consist of guided walks amongst plains game, estate game drives and mountain biking.  The estate is not fenced and shares boundaries with a game reserve so there is abundant wildlife.  Giraffes are often seen wandering gracefully through the woods between the two residences.  Additionally, Hippo Point is a bird lover’s dream being home to an extraordinary number of birds. 

A host of off-estate activities are available at an extra cost including horse back riding and day excursions to Nakuru National Park to see rhino and thousands of flamingo.  A boat trip to the lovely Crescent Island where the opening scenes from Out of Africa were filmed can be arranged as can a visit to the nearby, ruggedly scenic Hell’s Gate National Park   Personal care services such as yoga, massage and other spa treatments can also be organized upon request.
