Nestled in the grove of a riverine forest along the banks of the Talek
River in the middle of the Masai Mara, Naibor Camp is well situated for
good game viewing year round. Its close proximity to major wildebeest
crossings makes it an exceptional choice if you travel during the migration
season. Tucked away from the main Mara traffic, we like this property
for its seclusion and exclusivity.
Naibor strikes a nice balance between contemporary style and comfort
using a rich palette of muted bush colors. Each of the 9 spacious pale-canvas
tents feature fig-wood beds with soft quilts, en-suite baths with flush
toilet and a safari shower which is filled daily with hot water upon
request. The tents are positioned to promote complete privacy as well
as to enjoy the surrounding bush and wildlife from your personal verandah.
Activities include game drives and mountain biking.
Animals seen regularly in the reserve include lion, leopard, cheetah,
black rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra
among others. Birdlife is excellent around the camp and the surrounding
environs.
