Maramboi Tented Camp is another lower priced option in the Tarangire area.  Unlike Tarangire Safari Lodge it is not located in the park and will take some time to drive to a good game viewing area.  We include it here because it is much smaller and has better lodging and food than Tarangire Safari Lodge.

The ten tents are spacious and built on generous wooden decks.  Each has en-suite facilities and a private verandah.

The camp offers stunning views of the Manyara National Park, Rift Valley, Ngorongoro highlands and on clear days even Oldonyo Lengai a sacred mountain to the Maasai. In the wet season, the Manyara Pans fill with water which attracts huge flocks of Flamingo and other wading birds.

Activities here focus on game drives and safari walks.
