Mwagusi Safari Camp, our favorite camp in Ruaha National Park, combines privacy, excellent game guiding and an unbelievably beautiful location. 

Located on the bank of the Mwagusi Sand River, the 10 tents (designed within thatched bandas) feature high density mattresses, dressing rooms and en-suite baths.  Each has a large covered veranda with a table and armchairs from which you can enjoy the comings and goings along the river below.

The gaming is good in this area and you will enjoy it even more because you will be privileged to have both a driver and game spotter on your vehicle.  This makes a huge difference in what you see and how much you learn. Walking is also available.
