Situated in the far southwestern region of Lake Manyara National Park,
Lake Manyara Tree House is best suited for those wishing to spend at
least two nights here. Nestled in the heart of an ancient mahogany forest,
it is the only lodge in Lake Manyara National Park and provides an unbeatable
blend of sophisticated intimacy and romance.
The ten stilted treehouse suites feature contemporary furnishings in
neutral colors, spacious en-suite baths and an outdoor shower. Large
private decks allow magnificent views of the forest. An interesting
lodge feature is the interactive kitchen where you can watch the chef
prepare delicious Pan African food.
Activities include day and afternoon game drives, excellent bird watching
and picnics on the lakeshore. Known for its many elephants, Lake Manyara
National Park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions (not often
seen), buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, impala and several large troops of
Olive baboon.
