Reminiscent of a private lodge set amidst a tropical rain forest, the secluded Rivertrees Country Inn is the perfect place to begin or end your safari.  This charming old farm house combines old world ambiance, excellent farm cuisine, and unobtrusive personal service.  Great care and attention to detail is evident wherever you look.  From the generous sprinkling of bowls of cascading roses in every imaginable hue and color to the sultry sounds of female torch singers at dinner, you can tell that no stone has been left unturned to make your stay special.

Accommodations are in eight en-suite guest rooms located in either the main farmhouse or set within the spacious gardens.  In addition, there are two very special cottages nestled close to the river, offering wood burning fireplaces and private decks. 

The focus here is on nature, harmony and well being.  You can’t help but relax as you walk by the tinkling of the  babbling brook.  Beyond the gardens, pathways lead to the Usa River that flows through the property.   On days that Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru decide to make an appearance you can enjoy them from the privacy of the property.
