This safari was developed for those interested in the varied and complex aspects of modern wildlife conservation. Located in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Laikipia, you will learn what goes on behind-the-scenes of daily life on this working wildlife conservancy and cattle ranch. You will stay at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, a wonderful, traditional bush camp that is run by Alex and Diana Hunter, who together have 25 years experience in the bush. They have designed and run the camp in such a way that it makes as little environmental impact as possible.
Combining the integration of wildlife conservation with livestock production and work within the local communities, each day you can do at least one conservation activity combined with a morning or afternoon walk.
